WELCOME TO WALDEN!
Walden School is a private middle school providing high-quality education in a safe and caring environment. A challenging academic curriculum in a multi-graded classroom is offered to self-motivated students, who receive personal attention, guidance, and encouragement. Our purpose is to prepare our students academically, emotionally and creatively for any high school program they might choose. We want our young people to know how to learn and how to communicate what they have learned.

BACK TO SCHOOL
We are looking forward to a brand new school year!
We understand that Covid is still among us and we will still be taking precautions as we see fit. Hand sanitizer will be available for students, daily sanitizing will be done and masks are optional. We strive to create an environment that is conducive to learning but that is also a comfortable place for all students physically and emotionally.
Last year, the students were concerned about the events happening in Ukraine. After much discussion, they put together a plan to raise funds to send to the International Relief Committee. Their goal was to raise $500, enough for 1 mobile medical unit. Through a lot of hard work they were able to raise $3000! We are beyond proud of them!
This year, we welcome 2 students from Ukraine. We are looking forward to getting to know them as well as learning about their culture.
